From the beginning of our time together, we knew that the main focus of the wedding would be a secret garden.
The movie Emma was released around the beginning of this stationery suite & I was OBSESSED to say the least. (I rented it twice for $20 each just to see the artistry again…) Our vision started with dainty floral illustrations inspired by vintage wall & ceiling paintings from the Georgian era. Ella loves butterflies & they were even featured throughout the flowers at the reception. We wanted the save the date to make a statement, so we opted for a 4x9 handmade paper in a custom peachy-pink mauve & a soft green envelope. This size allowed the illustration heavy save the date to shine! We carried the handmade paper through to the invitation by using a lighter shade of the pink for the reply card. This suite will always be a favorite of mine because it instantly transports me to a whole different era full of lovely color!
