Michelle + Barron

When Michelle reached out to me to design their Monterey wedding stationery, I was like HECK YES! Michelle & Barron wanted to keep their wedding stationery fun, relaxed & laid back - however, with Michelle being Persian, they knew that their wedding was going to lean on the formal side. We made their wedding invitations unique with the untraditional layout & hand painted each invitation to mimic gold leaf overtop blue watercolor to match their outer envelopes. We also included handmade paper from Pressed Paper because Michelle wanted to support small women owned business - how awesome is she?! Each invitation was assembled with lots of care & detail in mind, especially with calligraphy from Leen Machine & vintage stamps curated by Little Postage House. The door you see on the invitation was custom illustrated for the couple for them to show guests where they will be getting married in front of. We also illustrated a vintage airplane as a family memento & a poppy on the details card to represent California. Detail was not lost in this magical California suite!
