Colorful Charleston

This suite & couple will always have a spot in our hearts. Each piece was thoughtfully created with the guidance of Haley Kelly Events & the amazing Woodbury family. The wedding took place in Charleston, South Carolina at The Dewberry. We incorporated Charleston aspects like the cute houses & food, but didn’t go too over the top with the Charleston aesthetic. Our Charleston included a spooky low-country house as the family murder mystery dinner party invitation. All of the artwork you see was hand painted & created specifically for this couple (which is what we do for every client). The bride’s grandfather owned a citrus orchard, Universal Studios is very important to them & the groom loves the Outer Banks in North Carolina, so hand painted “stamps” were our way to incorporate these elements. You can see citrus pop up again in their reply card in the form of a citrus crate & on their save the date “plate” next to the oyster. The overall theme of this suite was to awe the guests & to make them say “this is definitely Grace & Drew.” We had moving parts, pop up illustrations to reveal wedding information, 3D houses that served as menus, & more. Detective Stabler (their cat) even joined in on the party! Overall, we had an incredible time creating for Grace & Drew!
