design process & timeline

first

The adventure begins when you submit that form above and schedule a Dream Meeting with me. We’ll meet for an hour (or two) and play with the possibilities for your day. What does your dream stationery suite look like? What’s your style? Who are you and your partner as individuals, and what’s your identity as a couple? All of these little details layer together to build the vision for your stationery suite, which I’ll present to you as a mood board with an accompanying price quote.

then

You’re head-over-heels for the mood board, signed the contract, paid the 50% retainer, and now I really get to dig in. Color palette selection. Sketching. Painting. Sourcing. This is the fun part of wedding planning! I’ll show you my ideas and get your thoughts before developing a final proof, and once it’s approved, I’ll begin making your suite come to life.

finally

It’s time for me and my incredible partners to get busy printing your stationery. So many hands will touch your wedding suite before it’s done, between the artisans who make the paper and collect the stamps, to my own work drawing custom illustrations and compiling the suite. I wish I could see the look on your face when you open your mailbox and receive your bundle of happiness!

The magic of getting married isn’t just in planning your dream day... it’s in having your friends and family experience one of the most special moments of your life.

That’s why inviting your wedding guests shouldn’t just be a thing to cross off your to-do list, but a moment worthy of thought and intention. Your wedding stationery is more than just invitations, but a visual of your love story; an opportunity to have some fun while wedding planning; and a tiny work of art for each guest — a keepsake they can treasure forever.

Shana and this company was a non-negotiable dream vendor for me when it came time to start planning our wedding. I am a designer myself and I knew I wanted to hire someone who could collaborate with my partner and I and help create our vision. It was a big investment for us but it was so worth it in the end. Our guests were obsessed with all the invite details as well as the day-of pieces and signage. If you obsess over tiny details and high quality paper products / designs, then Iris & Marie is the right vendor for you. My only regret is that we could have afforded to have her do MORE MORE MORE!

— Lyndie

Shana is brilliant! She is so creative and designed and produced the most fun and interactive suite for our client. The process was seamless and incredibly fun. For the day of items she was thinking outside of the box with us and each sign, menu and other details were as unique and personal for our client. To top it off the actual product was impeccable and highest quality! I will use and recommend Shana for many more projects!
