Costa Palmas forever

There are not enough joyful words to describe this suite & this couple! It all started with their save the date that included artisan Mexican bark paper that was very difficult to find. We took inspiration from the landscape & included an illustrated prickly pear cactus with the wedding weekend dates hidden amongst the paddles. When we began creating the invitations, we wanted them to feel a little more playful, romantic & sweet. The invitation itself includes mini illustrations of different elements of the wedding weekend & of the couple. Maddie & Willy are represented throughout the stationery by two love birds, some with “M” & “W” in the wings. We took it a step further & printed the invitation with 5 letterpress ink colors to make it all shine! The supporting cards did not disappoint either. The beach club day was represented with a custom painted shell that included “trinkets” sitting on top. The trinkets open up to reveal the party information. It made for a wonderful interactive card for the guests. The welcome party card was heavily inspired by the venue itself. The venue is covered with mosaics & we pulled the colors & snake motif into the suite, but in our own way. The mosaic was hand painted first, then digitally printed, blind deboss & rhinestone eyes were applied to each snake. It was an exciting way to make our own kind of mosaic with paper.
